you see an architect that builds beautiful houses, and want them to build your house too. would you say to them “ah your work is great! can you build mine?!.. can you build one for me and if I like it ill pay you a good amount of money! it’ll be great to put on your website regardless!” uhhhh NO . not for any line of work, dentist, lawyer, accountant, etc. … SO WHY ON EARTH DO YOU THINK ITS OK TO DO THIS TO ARTISTS/DESIGNERS/CREATIVES ?? we are professionals too and spend countless hours creating whatever it is you want us to make… i mean would you spend 10+ hours at your job and not get paid? i didn’t think so… Art is our JOB . and JOBS aren’t FREE . TIME isn’t FREE. We have bills to pay too….(just a rant..)
